About Me

My photo
I'm awesome, nerdy, and I love vintage things. My family is convinced that I was born in the wrong decade...but I'm pretty sure I am right where I need to be.

Massive Amounts of Excitement!

Here are some Vintage Sewing sites that I've stumbled upon!
This will probably be the highlight of my day.

https://www.thebluegardenia.com/
Here is a site that sells Vintage patterns from the 1920's to the 1960's.
They also sell jewelry as well.

I probably won't puchase any patterns from the site, as most of the patterns I want are out of my price range, but I can use the pictures from the patterns and taylor modern pattern to have that authentic vintage look and feel.

Nearly done with the dress!

Wow, I am getting really excited about my dress.
All I have left to do is to finish up the bottom hem and stay stitch a few places by hand and Voila! I'll be done.

Hopefully here soon I will have some pictures to post of the finished project.

In other news, I am looking at possibly doing this dress for my next project. Please let me know what you think!
